Interns come from all over to demonstrate their unique skills and talents here at Alpine Marketing Ventures. What makes our social media and digital marketing content unique is who it comes from. Our interns come from all educational backgrounds. We have interns with majors in English, Marketing, Business Management, Digital Marketing, and Communications, just to name a few. We have learned that a variety of educational backgrounds brings a variety of ideas and perspectives that can be used to create the greatest content.

First Things First: Creating Content

AMV interns are hardworking and diligent, and in order to be able to accomplish all that we have in store for them each day, we start at 6 AM. When the interns all arrive we start by going through our social media channels and respond and engage with those that either message us, or reach out to us in the comment sections of each channel. After updating the social channels we jump on the blog to create content to help other marketers and new businesses with ideas and tips. This helps us create engagement with our audience and help us build trust with our clients and audience.

Second: Uploading Content

After reaching out and creating engagement with our audience, we make sure that our content is ready to be uploaded. We make sure that our content is what our clients are looking for as they scroll through their news feeds or their following pages.

In order to accomplish this, we use a content calendar to ensure we post at the optimal times of day. We prepare ahead of time for all the content we have for the month. Our content calendar looks just like this:

We want to post the highest quality content available, and we do that by giving the audience what they want. This is not the end-all-be-all content calendar for every business. After checking our content calendar and engaging with our audience, its time to make the posts. Making the posts, once the content is already made, is the easy part. There are plenty of websites or apps to use to upload your content, but we use Buffer. Buffer is an easy website to use to schedule at least 10 posts at a time. We like to schedule our posts ahead of time to ensure that our posting schedule is consistent. The time and day of your posts matter when building your brand.
